May 9—Yalow Yellow Birds Family Support Center

The Spring 2019 session of the Family Support Center—for Yalow parents and students—begins on Thursday, May 9, 2019  and ends June 27. Ten families—parents and students—meet Thursday evenings at the school with counselors, beginning at 5:15 p.m. following dismissal. If you wish to attend the complete 10-week spring session, please sign and return the attached form. A brief interview will follow.

Parents will learn stress management techniques and discipline techniques, while children will practice social skills in a supportive environment. The Family Support Center is run by a team of clinical professionals from the Mosaic Mental Health Association in partnership with the Rosalyn Yalow Charter School.
